beach food!

Oh my goodness, can you believe it?! today is already the first day of March! how time flies isn't?! And today marks the start of months long summer time here in the country! men, expect the beaches to be filled with booties and sexy bodies! how I wish to have the guts and will power to strut a skimpy bikini on the beach, if only I wasn't thinking about my flabby tummy. Crap, need to do some real deal work out as soon as possible! well, aside from my human growth hormone treatment that I'm thinking of getting to - read: hair fall problem.
Anyways, speaking of beach and summer getaways, let me just share with you dishes that often serve and enjoyed by the bay... (photo taken during our seafood dinner last weekend)

Calamari

One of the many family's favorite is calamari. Sliced squid marinated in salt and pepper, coated with flour and dip fried. Oh so yummy! But mind you, if your stomach has a hard thing for squids and the like, don't eat a lot of it or your tummy aches! Anyways, here is what we feasted on yesterday, yep no special gifts like Sebo vacuum cleaners, too old for gifts you know! But I got new books from friends and from my sister. A cooking book too from my niece! :D It was a happy day for us all, simple yet special celebration. Will post more of the foods we dug in a while. I just need to have it post one at a time.
bday55 by you.
