This sweet dessert recipe actually were given to me by my friend Ayin (my daughter's Godmother) The word GELEFLAN came from Gelatin and Leche flan which was combined for one great dessert! It was something I frequently desired when I was still pregnant. I can even eat this alone for the whole day! So when I made a batch for my niece's birthday, I decided to share the recipe with you...
Ingredients:
- 1 pack gelatin powder (I used Mr. Gulaman brand) cheaper than the famous brand :)
- 1 (big) can condensed milk
- 1 (big) can evaporated milk
- 2 eggs
- vanilla (optional)
- shredded cheese or pineapple tidbits (if desired for additional twists)
Procedure:
- Set up first the container to be use together with cheese or pineapple tidbits
- Mix the condensed and evaporated milk with the eggs and cook it in a medium heat until it boils
- Cook the gelatin powder according to packaging
- Gently combine the milk and the gelatin mixture in a large casserole in a low heat with continuous stirring.
- After 5 minutes of cooking, let it stand for a couple more minutes before pouring it to containers prepared earlier.
Now you got a creamy dessert everyone would surely love! :)
