Dinaing na Bangus

Another family's favorite dish, dinaing na bangus (milkfish). Since we are living where sea wonders are abundant, making a dinaing is a usual sight in one's household. So let me share with you the procedure on how to make your own!

Ingredients:
  • Bangus (milkfish) --cleaned and cut into lengthwise.
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 head garlic (crushed)
**If you can have your fish boned, then it is better.

Procedure:
  • Arrange the fish in a container (skin side up). Add the vinegar, pepper, salt and crushed garlic.
  • Let it sit to marinate for more than 24 hours, for the flavors to sink in the meat of the fish.
  • Fry it in hot cooking oil until you reached the desired wellness, others prefer it a bit crunchy while some like it medium fried.
  • Serve hot with rice and achara (if available)
