Chocolate Cuppies

Before I do my research for an online college, let me start my recipe/food blog, let me share with you the KP Creations Cupcake recipe. Actually, my business partner Paula is the one responsible for the baking, what am I good at? well, I do the decorating! so you'll also be seeing recipes and procedures to do sugar icing next! :)

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup milk

Procedure:
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a muffin pan with paper liners, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa and salt.
  • Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs one at a time, beating well with each addition, then stir in the vanilla. Add the flour mixture alternately with the milk and beat well.
  • Fill the muffin cups 3/4 full
  • Bake for 17 - 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
  • Let it still in the pan for another 5 minutes before removing, frost with icing when it's already cool enough.
