Friday Fill Ins

1. My favorite food seasoning is banana ketchup.
2. hip hop is music to my ears.

4. my studies is something I take very seriously.

6. chips and snacks was the last thing I bought at the store.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to my niece's trick or treating at the mall, tomorrow my plans include going to the cemetery and Sunday, I want to sleep and watch CSI!

Well, since it's still my semestral break, what keeps me occupied this past few weeks is online window shopping, er hopping. Not that I'm into online shopping like my sister, although technically, she is the one in charge for the our online purchases :) I'm just the one who searches for the items that interests me and send it to her so she can order it for me.. and here is my latest finds...

Pork Batchoy

Another easy comfort food that is so easy to prepare and will surely be love by the whole family! I happened to catch my mom preparing this the other day so I quickly took a picture of it and share it with you together with the recipe..

What you need:

• 3-4 cloves of garlic (crushed)
• 1 medium onion
  
• 1/4 kilo pork (cut into bite size)
• 1 medium pack of Sotanghon noodles
  
• 2-3 stems of kinchay
• pork bullion cube
• salt
  
• pepper
• 1 1/2cup water

Procedure:

• the usual, saute the garlic, onions then put the bite size pork, let it pan fried for 2-3 minutes
  
• add the water, salt,pepper and bullion cube let it simmer for 10 minutes
• add the kinchay and the sotanghon noodles, cover and simmer for another 5 minutes until the noodles is ready
• serve hot with rice :)

What I had for snack this afternoon, a super yummy fluppy mamon bread from Goldilocks! :) Just paired it with cold coke and voila! my afternoon snack is perfect! Oh yeah, I had to eat two of this for me to be fully satisfied! lol...

>> We usually buy, no one is artistic in the family to do one.

Alright then, since I've started talking about mortgage loans, and the fact that there are a lot of people applying for the said loan offer, specially in our subdivision, you see, I heard that the developer opened a lot of vacant slots for those who needed a housing loan that will really fit their budget, meaning they can possibly pay for the monthly mortgages, and yes, good news for the ones who have bad credit mortgage refinance because at this point in time, they can get a refinance with bad credit. Even if they have bad credit history, they still can be given another chance, they just have to make sure that the loaner can meet with their monthly dues and payable.

I was doing something with my homework some weeks ago when I found myself reading about reverse mortgages that is part of my comprehension subject. It really bothers me because the fact that I know only about mortgages but when it comes to reverse mortgage I am totally lost! It really freaks me out. I had to call my sister and ask her about it, good thing, she was able to blog about it too some months back. So I was able to read all about it. Sometimes, it really means a lot to know a lot of things, so when the time comes you need to explain something to people who are needing some good explanation, you can actually tell them about it, you know, without bragging that much, at least telling them something to give brief explanation. Anyways, I was also learned about the good use of reverse mortgage calculator, something a person who needs to get a mortgage can use to calculate the amount of everything the loan and all.

University life

I used to dream of studying in another country, a dream that my dad most of the time would ride on, telling me that he as a matter of fact graduated from a famous Nouveau University, of which I doubt because he usually smile and laugh it all off after telling me his story. And yes, proven by my mom would tell me that he is just joking! Funny I know, but for real, he really wanted to study at Nouveau University even before, maybe because a lot of good talks and reviews about schools and universities in another country are being featured on the books and other reading materials he was able to read before, thus making him dream of finishing a medical course at Nouveau University. Anyways, although we weren't able to study in those famous international school, my sister and I are still hoping of someday, we can get to experience a life in one of those university someday. Or better yet, if God permits, our children can fulfill the dreams we used to have.
