Another household favorite, although I am not fish fanatic, I still love to cook fish dishes. A loved dish by the kids of the family, because of the sour-y taste of the sabaw.
Ingredients:
- 1 small bangus (milkfish) sliced
- 2 med tomatoes
- 1 med onion
- 1 bundle kangkong (water spinach)
- 1 radish
- sampaloc (tamarind) mix
- salt
- water
- boil 2-3 cups of water with sliced onions and tomatoes
- when already boiling, add in the fish, salt and tamarind powder
- let it simmer for 2 more minutes
- add in the vegetables and boil for another 1 minute
- serve hot with rice
