Cornbeef with Cabbage

One of the staple canned goods we have here in our cupboard is corned beef. Because there are these few times mom is not in great shape to cook special-elaborated meals for us. Thus making her run to the shelf and get a can or two of our favorite corned beef and saute (stir fry) it with cabbage. Super delicious yet so easy to prepare. It's like you can make a small business opportunity by putting up an eatery. :)

Ingredients:
  • 1 can corned beef (the chunkier/meatier the better)
  • 4 pcs garlic (crushed/minced)
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 small cabbage (sliced0
  • 1/4 cup water
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oil
Procedure:
  • Saute garlic, onion in hot oil
  • when the garlic has browned and the onion has cleared drop in the 1 can corned beef
  • stir well for about 2 minutes
  • add on the 1/4 cup water, salt and pepper to taste. simmer for about 3 minutes
  • now put the cabbage in the simmering corned beef and stir well for about 1 minute and remove from heat.
  • serve hot with rice.
