summer time!

Now that summer time has finally come, thus the planning of annual company and family outing usually leads the topic of conversation. In fact, sellers of tours and package trips to different destinations are sprouting online for their promotions. As well as those sellers that are often a hit during this time, just like sellers redwood picnic table and the likes that are most seen during outing at the parks and even resorts. And speaking of outing, do you guys already have a plan?

Going back to memory lane - that is my mood tonight, I don't know why but I found myself browsing our wedding photos here in my computer, and I can't help but love the simplicity of the church's decoration, actually, I wasn't able to notice the flowers that the florist used for the aisle it was only when we received the soft copies of the photos then I notice that they were able to please my request for them, wedding flowers that will follow our citrus-themed wedding. Actually, they even made a huge flower arc on the entrance of the church, but I can't seem to find a descent photo with that view. Would you believe that before I made the arrangement with the head florist, I had to search online for nice flower inspiration and I owe a lot to online sites for their wonderful array of beautiful flowers! Famous for their great arrangements and designs, they even deliver anywhere in the world in one day delivery lead time! yes, that fast. Happy Heart’s Day!

How was your heart’s day? Ours was just a so-so day because we didn’t exert effort on going out and spending the day outside just like the other lovey doveys… Instead, we just had a simple lunch and dinner at home. Watched movies and browsed sites for gifts that we both want to receive… he asked for one of those plastic switch plate covers while I asked for a new scarf :) There, our valentines day 2012 :)

My sister took dear daughter for a surprise pre-birthday pictorial sometime last week, and indeed, we were surprised with the output of photos! in fact, they had lots of outfit change including one of her funny t shirts just like the one she’s wearing in the photo. Actually, that shirt is one of her favorite that was given by her auntie Jonah. Will be posting more photos of their session on my next posts :)

Barbie Princess Cake

My little princess requested a barbie princess cake for her birthday so I scouted for a cake supplier that offers good and affordable design, thank heavens I found one that really satisfied my expectation of a dainty cake (though the location is a bit far from our place that we even had to check or report engine of our car after over heating!). But anyways,  as expected, my daughter went gaga upon seeing her cake and gave the husband and I nth number of kisses! Indeed, a cake worth every cent :)

toys for DD

now that my dearest daughter's is just a few days away, we are thinking of getting another set of wooden toys just like the ones below. Aside from having fun with these cute kids toys, she’ll be able to maximize her wondering mind and imagination by playing hostess to her friends or acting restaurateur or even pastry chef or whatever! And also, these toys can also serve as our medium for our never-ending bonding moments as mom and daughter! now that is sweet, isn’t?

coffee love

Was at Strabucks yesterday and happily found amazing deals on their holiday mugs that I will be giving out to my two apprentice photographers. You see, if there is another thing aside from photography that we all love, it’s the drinking of coffee and chilling at coffee shops! So to cut our coffee expenses, I’d be giving them mugs/tumblers  aside from bunn coffee grinder that they can bring along to shoot locations! :)

gifts for her

So as I've mention in my other blog, I am now in quest for cute sapphire rings or necklace for my daughter. It will be my just because gift for her, since her father already bought something quite expensive for her. And I wanted to give her a gift too, actually we are going to buy another one which will be from us, so as early as now, Olin will have three gifts from her parents! I'm really really excited for that! for sure my daughter will be ecstatic once she saw her gifts! :D So what am I thinking of getting her? I am eying this sterling silver girl charm that can match her other silver jewelries, thinking of us wearing silver on New Year's day instead of gold, that's why. And besides, who wouldn't love this cute pendant? It is super meant for the little girls in the family!

car shows

I’ve been enjoying my stint as a buddy to my husband especially accompanying the him to his meet ups and car shows. Aside from seeing great restored and new cars, it’s also the time that I get to see celebrities and other famous icons from different walks of life. Well, I also look forward to getting freebies and stuff from sponsors of the events and free talks from sellers of different items that has something to do with the love for cars and driving. Learning new tips and suggestions on things like roadside assistance or medical air evacuation and the likes too are some of the many things I get to know more during meet ups and shows.

battery talks

My cousin is currently having a research study on batteries and to be honest, I only have a few inputs about this, from what I learned during our ISO trainings on my previous work. Though only few things to put in, but I believe that it already covers the whole idea on the recycling thing. You see, with all the harsh elements our dear earth is experiencing now, we must really do our part on saving and helping create a healthy environment for us all living here. And one way is by recycling, recycling things that we possibly can, from papers to bottles to other stuff even like batteries. Never easily throw things that we think doesn't have use at that instant, but instead ponder and see the future of such item if it can be use again or recycle. Common sense is actually one of the best thing to use during such time!
