Big Mouth - Boracay

And I am back! after not updating my blogs, particularly my food blog… here I am armed with so many stories and reviews on restaurants and food stalls that we tried at Boracay island (which calls out for my adapexin-p intake too!). To start, let me share with your our first lunch out experience few minutes after we arrived and checked in at our hotel. Since our room package doesn’t include lunch we are obliged to scout for place to dine and Big Mouth is our first pick! Located at the famous D* Mall of the island, here we found ourselves ordering their famous sizzling steaks and flavored/colorful iced teas! All in all, the foods we had are a ok! servings are pretty hefty (150-200 per order – viand/rice – which can be shared), even their drinks are quite cheapo too P50 for their large glass (my daughter loved their red flavored tea while my bet goes to the blue one).

easter celebration

Easter is just few weeks to go and preparation are already starting with displays and novelties for sale are starting to be very visible little by little. Actually, we aren't that into Easter celebration before aside from remembering our Savior's life and passion by hearing mass and attending various church activities. It was only some years ago when people in this country embraces the Easter fun activities - anything that has to do with eggs and rabbits and stuff. And now, we are getting fond on buying and hoarding easter gifts for kids to be given out to those little ones who will join the egg hunting. Anyways, to give you examples here are some items I found online that are made specially for the kids.

I just love cakes and pastries! In fact, it is one of favorite subject to capture aside of course aside from eating it all! ;) Anyways, here is one of the many mini cakes that was displayed at the birthday celebration I covered yesterday. Those miniatures was a total hit not only for the kids but for the young at heart as well! Very feminine cake design right? You wouldn't dare to think that it's a boy's party because for sure no pinks or purple would be the chosen if ever but more of the blues and greens and somewhat inspired steiner binoculars, guns and cars! ;)

Gadgets are loved by most of us. In fact, when we do our shopping activities, we often set a budget for a special gadget that we want to have. For people who are saving to purchase a laptop, feel free to see the different laptop deals so you’ll have an idea which brand is the best and what model can really suit your preference. If you like playing games online, best to get a huge memory capacity unit or known as gaming laptop. But if you are always on the go, get the cute and tiny netbooks, available in different striking colors for those who like stand out stuff! You see, actually it really doesn’t matter as long as you are happy and if your Laptop can be used anywhere you go and you can connect to various wireless connection available in a flash! :D

going bald

I saw an article in a certain newspaper promoting hair loss products. And I smiled when I saw this statement “Act before people starts referring you as the bald guy”. This statement is just simple yet I think it will work to people who are beginning to lose some hair. Who wants to be called “bald guy”? Losing hairs only means we are getting old and most of us do not want to be called that way. Ooopss, don’t deny it, I am sure you always deny your real age.

My mom had been stressed on her daily work. She is experiencing the different signs of ageing. Sometimes, I really miss the facial features of my mom before. Seeing her looking happy, young and bubbly is what I want every time I look at her. I am glad that I can give her anti wrinkle creams to minimize the lines and other signs of facial ageing. And I think it is working on her, the lines are minimizing each time I saw her.

total revamp

A friend of mine was just thin before. He looks like a teen age boy even if he is already an adult. It is due to his body structure before but now, you can put him in a line of men models. I can’t even see the old friend of mine, what I see now is that he worked hard to gain that body built and maybe, it can also attributed to the creatine powder he used while building his masculine body.

sad news here and there

As of the moment, it is sad to hear bad news from televisions and radios; we also found it through internet. Some murder crimes are really horrific; in fact, some victims were not identified immediately. Through the use of high technology, armed forces officers usually solve the criminal cases. paternity testing is done to victims that are hard to identify or officers may look for the victims’ dental records. Autopsies are also done for further investigation.

Lechon

While I was supposed to be searching online for the newest ps3 games there is, here I am, salivating over this roast pork (lechon) over at my flickr account. It’s past three in the morning already but my stomach is growling like crazy after seeing this all-time-favorite-Pinoy-dish! Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be easy for me to have a serving of this for it needs to be ordered first from our ever favorite seller. You see, the ones being sold at food courts aren’t as good as the ones like this, really don’t know why, but probably because of the sauce or the crispiness of the skin or something. Oh well, good thing I’m on a diet thus I wouldn’t really pursue on buying even per kilo! :D Guess I’ll just stare at these photos and imagine :D

to work again

While having our dinner last night, the husband and I discussed about our future plans, now that our daughter is already four. Maybe it’s time again for me to apply for an eight to five work in an office or something. Being a graduate of Management studies, probably I'd be able to pin down one of those management jobs available for grabs. Though it’s still not 100% sure, I might take the risk of submitting my resume on companies online and who knows, this year might be the year for me to work again in the corporate world! :D
