gift idea.

Husband’s birthday is just around the corner. Twenty days to go, to be exact. And yes, aside from a massage and spa voucher that I was able to snag some weeks ago, I still doesn’t have a gift for him. Maybe I can check out promotional stuff over at the hunting sites he often visits or get him this xbox hard drive that he can use for his toy. Oh well, will make sure to get him a special gift next week, once I fully recovered my body from this cough and colds.

Gong Cha – Tea Fit For Royalty

I love tea! As much as I love coffee. That is why when my friend Peachy told me about this famous tea house that has been often flooded by tea lovers, I made sure to try it out the moment I set foot at MOA last week. And true enough, it’s not just hype nor overrated for their CHOCOLATE MILK TEA with pearls is delish! Will sure come back to this store as soon as possible, actually, I’ve been craving for days now! hmmm, maybe we can drop by when I accompany my father when he go and check for his social security benefits in the metro next week! ;)

hardware biz

A friend of mine has been thinking of putting up a hardware business. I told him that this business requires many people as this business is very much manpower dependent. Also, the people who will work here should know every piece inside the store even the thrust bearings or any other type of bearings, nails or anything that is used for construction and car repairs. But I also told him that if he got the resources he need and this is what he really wants to do, then this is the right business for him.

vikings trip

We were supposed to try Vikings buffet last Sunday, unfortunately I’m still not feeling well so we had to cancel and had it re-schedule. Hopefully this coming weekend we’ll be able to come and try the phenomenal buffet feast!

Well, guess I better ready myself for the upcoming eat all you can but for now, will be checking out rv insurance that my husband asked me to search, can’t really tell what is it for, maybe he’d like to get insurance for his new atv or something.

How to Survive Your First Buffet Experience

When you think about the word buffet, you immediately picture a long line of food in every corner. Yes buffet restaurants are a favorite among friends and families who love to eat. For a fixed amount, you could have a taste of different dishes and even desserts. It is like being in a feast for a couple of hours and the options are endless.

Even if the main premise of such buffet restaurants is to enable you to eat-all-you-can there is still some dining etiquette to practice in order to have a nice experience. First thing that you should do is look around and examine the dishes available. This could help you plan your meal course in order to refrain from loading up your plate with foods that you won’t eat in the end.

Always wait for your turn when in queue and avoid rushing or pushing other people. Remember that restaurants have enough for everyone to feast one, don’t worry you’ll have a piece of your favorite meal. When it is your turn to get food, take only what you can eat. Small portions of a variety of choices are a good way to enjoy a buffet.

Observe courtesy at all times. For your next serving it is a good and clean practice to get a new plate because this is also hygienic. If you are unfamiliar about a cuisine do not hesitate to ask rather than doing a taste test and waste a serving.

Fried Ice Cream Addiction

vanilla craze

It was only last month when my daughter and I discovered this fried ice cream stall at the mall, when we saw a group of youngsters in line at the said stall. Curious as we are, we then wait for our turn and ordered our vanilla ice cream topped with lots of different toppings that surprisingly costs us only P40! (roughly $1) for a huge tub. And the verdict? it was good! not too sweet but has the right smoothness that I want in an ice cream, I bet my daughter loves it too because now, every time we’re at the mall she never forgets to ask for it! And yes, that makes us two :)  and that also calls for my diet pills in take afterwards! :D
