grocery shopping is bonding time

Grocery shopping is one of the many things that the husband and I loves to do together. Actually it’s one way of our bonding time at least twice a month. Where we scour aisle after another for what we need and even talks about the products and stuff! And yes, we often takes our time at the grocery or supermarket and make sure that we have ample of time to read, know and remember every item that we need for the house. We also love to discuss and compare items such as the best natural hair loss products or the most sought after dish washing liquid :D Funny, but really we just love doing it thus explains we make sure to do grocery shopping together :D

When most of the people I know are  doing and investing every cent they can in order to achieve a lighter skin complexion, there are those who does the opposite thing! Bathing under the sun for long hours and putting on tanning bed lotions as well in order to become tan or brown. Now that’s the irony of life isn’t?! we people aren’t contented with what we have and does everything to be like those who on the other side wants to be like us! Weird, but that’s life.

I was just reading a friend’s blog earlier today when I saw this cute representation of the heart’s status on every occasion/event. Funny but true isn’t!? Actually, it’s really our heart who carries every burden or whatsoever we feel 24/7 and it is our hurt that suffers much and the first one to feel love whenever we are. Good thing our heart is located inside, or else it could have been experiencing so much stress signs like pimples and the likes that it could also be needing acne solution just like our face from all the sleepless nights caused by breakups and heart breaks!

We only have 100 days before Christmas and honestly, I haven’t decided on what gifts to buy for my husband, daughter and even myself. Though there was a time sometime last week when I thought of wanting a new point and shoot camera…when I learned that LX5 was just released in the market, I literally got so excited because it has been over a year when I first thought of buying the previous model, LX3. But when I told a friend on my idea of checking out some digital cameras for Christmas, he told me about another Nikon’s released Coolpix P7000. Both has great feisty features inside and out and honestly, I’m confused now on what to get for myself! Hopefully, I’d be able to gather and read reviews and be able to realize which is better to get :D

Carrot Cake

Woke up this morning with a strong craving for this… The only problem is, there is no available carrot cake at the bakeshop where we usually buy our pastries stash. So what I did, aside from searching online for memory foam mattress sale that we need to immediately buy for my grandmother, I then search for a simple carrot cake recipe and thought of baking my own version tomorrow – if and only if I’m not loaded with work online :D Hopefully, I won’t so I’d be able to make my own cake and share with my family and with my grandmother who is currently in the hospital right now! Now that’s sweetness :D

I love eating out, actually whenever I feel down and not feeling well (emotionally).. eating becomes my savior. Oh yeah, emotional eater is what I consider myself. And speaking of eating out, one thing that attracts me to enter new restaurants and come back to the old ones are their lighting pieces. Maybe it's just me or the love for taking pictures basically needs good lighting, so there, landscape lights can give a whole lot of great effect whenever you take pictures of food and the whole place itself, especially if it's the al fresco way! :D
