birthday

Stephanie's birthday was held yesterday, and we were there at their house to celebrate with her. It wasn't a huge party but more of a family affair, her mom didn't invite guests aside from us, so there. What we had was the typical Filipino birthday dishes like pansit bihon, fried chicken, cake and ice cream. And as a given fact, we all went home very much full that we found ourselves talking about taking best diet supplements! because we practically needed it already! Bulges and flabs are very much visible already and we need to do something about that you know. Though we went home with packed foods still :D

no meet up for me

I'm supposed to meet up with my high school friends last Friday, unfortunately I wasn't able to get out because I waited for the internet company repairman to arrive. Turns out, the support team arrive late in the afternoon already, thus made me cancel my appearance at our meeting place.
Anyways, I heard they had a very good time, yes, even without me! And they talked a lot of stuff and things, event the thought of scouting for jobs in south jersey! since of our group mates are settled in New Jersey, so probably he'd be able to help or anything.
So there, I'm actually on my bitter state because there are so many things that I missed, and I can't help but really feel jealous while browsing their meet up photos! :(

shrim pasta crave

Lately, I find myself eating more than what I should. Thus explains the bulges from just about everywhere! Can't really understand why I tend to crave more on different foods during the summer time when everyone else can't seem to make themselves eat from the humidity and scorching hotness.
Anyways, speaking of craving.. here is what I'm craving at the moment.. shrimp pasta! Not really a seafood lover so whenever I crave for one, is just another story. Actually, I had to blame this craving after receiving my copies of photos I got from an online printing store, so happen that this picture is one of the print outs... so there. It really looks so appetizing no? :D

domesticated diva loving dollar store products!

It's more than a month now actually when I got back to being a domesticated diva. After almost a year of staying at my parent's place and practically doing nothing in the house, basically my daughter and I just wakes up, eat, bum and if I'm the mood, the only chore I take over is the dishes. So there, it's very much stressful for me the last few days because everything comes in a super fast phase, that I can't seem find myself to keep up and all. But then again, yes, it's getting slowly down to my system, in fact, we just trooped to the supermarket and made our second supplies shopping in a month! Oh yes, I'm definitely back into cooking. But what makes me really excited here is actually the shopping, even for the groceries. I just love the hunt for sales and discounted items aisle after aisle! It's more of like a hunting quest or something. And sometimes, I wonder how will I be able to handle those dollar store item, that has nothing but of course, dollar store products! glee! And for sure, if I'd be able to shop on those stores, I wouldn't mind my going back to being a domesticated goddess.. and I'd be forever be thanking those dollar store suppliers
for their products too! :D

Will probably get a new laptop computer as soon as my other scheduled expenses are over and done. I miss baking. Er, I miss baking (assisting) with my friend Paula. You see, when she's still here in the Pi, we often find ourselves mixing, whisking and baking till the wee hours of the night. We just love spending time together in front of our oven, it's basically our outlet when we need a break from our busy lives. I remember when we need something to do because we are both fed up with so many issues, we were able cuppies that actually look like these! Super cute isn't? but the thing is, my camera's battery went dead, so no picture at all of the final product! mom's day

Today is mother's day! and we were supposed too celebrate this special day somewhere, unfortunately, I'm still not feeling well. That is why the husband and I decided to postponed whatever it is that we're supposed to do for this day. I'll just make sure to get an extra special pampering within this week, as soon as I feel better. A day at the spa would be perfect for me! will sure do have a day of dipping in a jacuzzi, full body massage, facial (and learn about those spa filters too! lol).
So there... guess I better hit the sack again and have a full rest... have a great Mother's day ya' all moms out there!
